ACGRG8 is the eighth in a series of biennial conferences run by the Australasian Society for General Relativity and Gravitation (ASGRG) with the aim of bringing together researchers from around the world to discuss new findings in mathematical, theoretical, numerical and experimental aspects of General Relativity.

The conference is open to anyone with an interest in general relativity with special discounts made available to society members.

Abstract submissions closed

The deadline for the submission of abstracts was Friday 13 November.


The conference will be held at the Clayton campus of Monash University situtaed 20 kms south east of Melbourne.

Social functions

A welcome reception will be held on the evening of Tuesday 1 December. The conference banquet will be held on the Thursday evening. Both events will be held on campus.

Financial support

There will be some financial support for students to attend. If you wish to apply for support please contact the local organising committee using this web form. Prefernce will be given to those who can substantiate their need for support.
